I've had SO many things go wrong with my doll shippings this week >_<"

First things first, the Danish Post had a separate company try delivering Fitzwilliam to me on Monday. Unfortunately, they came when I had just left to go meet up with my friend Anne in Copenhagen. Because it was a separate company, they just took the package back to Copenhagen central center for deliveries...which is pretty far from where I live (45 min. transportation).
Lucky we had to go to Copenhagen again Wednesday, so we could pick up the package on the way home (Anne had bought a IH Cyborg Bianca that same day, so we both were carrying large boxes on the train going home XD).
When we got back to my place, it was already late, but we couldn't wait to open our boxes and fangirl about our new dollies. My good camera was run out of battery, so we used my phone to photo the box opening of Fitzwilliam:

 Hmm...I started wondering where the clothes and stuff was...it's always on top of the pillow

 But nope. Only the random glass eyes where with him ;__;" Pretty saddened by this as I was super excited to see his outfit and the Oscar Doll eyes

 At least he is every bit as gorgeous as I had hoped *__*

 I just put in the eyes he came with. They are pretty actually...but a bit too big for him imo.

(Those hands *nosebleed*)

As the poor guy didn't have any clothes, his evil mum and auntie dressed him in a dress XD He isn't happy at all

So, that was a bit of a let down. More than $200 worth of stuff missing from the package...>_<" A little annoying, but PW were quick to send my stuff right away after I told them it was missing from the package. Apparantly the lady in charge of packing for PW was sent to the hospital, so its been a bit hectic at PW lately. I'm not mad at PW really, it can happen and they were really fast sending my stuff to me, but I SO looked forward to getting an almost full set doll for once. XD I was so let down...but I somehow had an idea it might happen as it sounded a little like PW had forgotten my order when I asked back in June. Anyway, he is a GORGEOUS doll and I feel so lucky to have him! *^^*

But it's not over yet XD

I also have Ludwig coming...but it has been so exhausting because of fuck ups made by the Danish Post. After I payed for import, they somehow asked to have him send back to Korea...oO"

Yesterday, when I checked my tracking, it didn't make any sense at all, so I called the Danish Post to learn how on earth I was supposed to get my package then. I got sent on through 4 different phone numbers before someone was able to help. They managed to call the package back, and put it back for delivery. I was very relieved that they could stop it from going back to Korea.

When I checked the tracking this morning, it said the package had been delivered to a different post office than what I had asked for, so I had to phone them again and ask wtf? The guy I reached told me he couldn't guarantee that the package would even still be at that post office, so he told me to wait for tomorrow where it is supposed to be delivered at my local post office. OH MY GOD!! How many fuck ups can you do with one single parcel? I'm SO tired of worrying over this.

I just hope Anne and I can go and get it tomorrow, and this will all be over. I was SO horrified when I had phoned the Danish Post. NONE of them even apologized for all the trouble they knew it was giving me. If I hadn't checked my tracking as often as I did, my parcel would be long gone to Korea now. I even asked "And who is going to pay for getting back my parcel?" whereto the guy on the phone just said "The sender is of cause". It's so typical no one takes any responsibility. A polite "We're sorry" had been nice. :(

So now I'll just wait till tomorrow...but without any real expectations as I just don't want to get disappointed again.

It's not all bad, I've just been BURNED pretty much XD'

BUT! Both Anne and I got new dollies, and they are gorgeous!! Look forward to seeing Anne's update about her gorgeous Bianca Cyborg lady *_____________*

Shipping notice

I finally received my shipping notice from Peakswoods for my White Rabbit Tristan. I actually suspect they forgot my order, as I got the tracking number just as I had asked when they thought he would be shipped XD but I'm so thrilled! He is sure to be super handsome and lovely.
I just hope they remembered to include all the extra eyes and his limited outfit and stuff ;P

I'm on summer vacation at my parents house (farm?) at the moment, but I hope I can pick my Fitzwilliam up the week after next when I return home. ^^

I'll also be ordering Iplehouse Crow on the 1st of July btw ;D

Shipping notice!

Yay! I'm so happy! I got my shipping notice for my two FoC girls today *____________*

I was SO surprised really. They said when I payed the last payment, that it would take them 2-3 months to produce them. In the end it didn't even take them 2 months :O

I'm receiving stuff for my girls from Taobao, but it will not be in my hands before another 2 weeks, so its all very bad timed. Especially since I don't really have any money for the horrible import tax. >___<"

Well, now I'm just dead scared that something should happen to my lovely girls while they are being shipped x____x" I'd hate to open the boxes and find something is broken :/ That is my biggest fear in this hobby >__< buuh

Oh! And I also got the shipping notice for the face up stuff I bought from Britain. I wrote to their customer service on Wednesday, to ask how long it would take them to ship my order as I found it a little strange that I hadn't heard from them at that time at all. They replied later that day that it took them two work days to process an order, which in itself was odd, as it was already the 3rd work day at that point. <__<"
So I waited and then wrote again today...an hour later I got my shipping noticed so that was fine. I had of cause hoped to have received it all by this weekend, but that is not going to happen.
I did get a message from their customer service an hour ago, and they apologized the delay. But I am a bit disappointed that they didn't keep me up on track themselves, and not that I should have to write and inquire if something is happening on the other end. :/
Anyway, it's being send now so I'm just happy I don't need to think much about it anymore. ^^

Hopefully I'll still be able to get my sisters MSD-sized girl painted before I visit my parents later this month ^^"

Shipping notice from Taobaotrends

Got the shipping notice from Taobaotrends today. YAY! I'm so looking forward to recieve Alice's new dress and the Zoukei-Mura brushes.
Hopefully I'll then be able to do more of the faceup I need to finish XD
I want to be able to paint super fine and feathery eyelashes. <3

The first payment for my Dlights has also been payed, and I am officially on a long layaway ;)
I still have no actual ideas for characters/story/clothes/style/etc. for them, but I'll have fun finding it out in the next months ;D

I went to the post office today to send Mr. AngelsDoll Michael to his new owner in Germany.
I think she will love his sexy ass to bits! :D

Now comes the time where I bite my nails and hope nothing messes up in the shipping process. I don't know why, but I get super nervous when shipping out stuff. I'm so afraid something could break ;___;" and if so I would feel so ashamed of myself.

So I really hope everything goes smoothly and he arrives as the tightly wrapped bubble mummy I shipped him as today XD

Incoming!!!

I happened to ckeck the Track & Trace number for my dolls today, and it shows that I can collect them at the postoffice tomorrow!! YAY!
Normally, when it's a package with customs though, you get a note from the customs with the amount you have to pay, but I haven't received one so it's really lucky I checked the Track & Trace. So weird.

So hopefully I'll be making box-opening shoots tomorrow ^___^
Can't wait to actually see the sculpts irl. I'm just hoping I won't be too upset about the lack of two bodies XD

Oh, and Taobaotrends send me an email today to show that they have received my order:

I'm not sure if this is the front of a backdrop, because I checked my order and I didn't order this one. But maybe it was a gift because I bought several others from the same seller? Idk XD

I payed for the shipping already, so I'm hoping I'll have the stuff by next week. Until then I'll just put one of the twins dresses on the body. ;)

FINALLY!! The day came when I could go get Alice home from the post office.

YES! Today it happened! My note from customs told me I could go pick Alice up from the local Post Office. Today it is exactly 120 days since I ordered her, so that was a pretty long wait. I think I almost grew a beard. >_<"

Anyway, I was really surprised that the Danish customs only wanted me to pay around $38 for her, I thought I would need to cough up the triple of that sum. Phew so this months budget is saved! XD

Any anyway...I went and picked up the package and it was SO smaller and lighter than I am used to. She is my first doll under 58cm, so I was really surprised that I could easily carry her around and stuff. So nice. ^^
When I got home I immediately grabbed my camera and started documenting the box opening:

 

I was so excited about the resin color, and it is just as I thought, so I'm really really glad! She was totally worth the wait!
The clothes from Taobao is a bit big, but it looks really cute on her I think. The hat is sliding down at times though, but I should be able to fix that somehow, and if not, the set is just as cute without the hat ;P
I really like the eyes. I think they will really be awesome once I get her faceup done ^^
I might also want to get some brown socks for her...the white ones were the best of the three pairs I have, but I think brown ones would be better. XD
I've just been in happy-happy land all day because she is so perfect :3

Shipping notice

I just got the best news!! Peak's Woods finally sent my Alice!! :D
I'm so thrilled. The best thing that could happen before my exam tomorrow!

Now i just need to pull myself together and pass my exam...otherwise you will be suffering very depressed blog entries for a while XD
But OMG! She is on her way! My Alice will be hooome~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
