Slowly paying off

So long since I've posted last...or is it just me? ;D
I just wanted to note that I payed off TWO payments on my layaway plan for my Dlights this time. :D Yaaay!!! It's really great to see the payments getting fewer and fewer, knowing I'll have my two Dlights home in the beginning of 2015. *^^*
If all goes well, I'll be paying the last installment by end of January. Wee!! So happy <3
It's so great I get payed a bit for working at my internship company :)

I'm starting to look for what to buy my new girls when they arrive, and I've been fretting a bit about wigs. I'm pretty sure about color and style, I'm just not sure if I should go with fur or synthetic. I read about this brand Pengin Workshop on DoA last week, and these wigs look so pretty...I'm just not really sure if they have what I want XD
So hard to find the right thing. It's like my concept is at the edge of my sight, but I can't really see it clearly, just get hints and guess what I think I see. It's quite annoying sometimes >___<"
I want my girls to look a bit mature and not super girlie/lolita/frilly...you know? So I'm having a hard time because I really like to look at the girlie/lolita/frilly stuff XD
It has even crossed my mind to maybe make Ophelia's wig myself ö___ö" Don't know if I dare though. I've never tried it, and there seems to be a million different ways to do it. I would feel a lot more comfortable just buying a pretty red/wine colored wig that can be braided loosely over one shoulder. ^^

If anyone has a wig-dealer you think might be selling such a wig, please let me know <3 I shall be forever greatful :D

New TaoBao order :D

So considering me not having bought any clothes for my incoming Loki and Lucy, I decided I would pay a visit to TaoBao to see if I could find something nice, and I did :D

I've always wanted Loki and Lucy to be wearing school uniforms when they meet Alice for the first time, so I found these really cute uniforms for tiny-sized dolls. I was going to buy them in the white-shirt-black-collar version, but ended up ordering the white-shirt-green-collar version in stead, as I think it would look even cuter. ^^

I've ordered the two uniforms exactly as shown here. Not sure if the socks comes with the set, otherwise I'll just find out. It's not so important atm.

I bought shoes to go with the school uniforms too. A pair og black Mary Janes for Lucy (duh) and a pair of black (formal) shoes for Loki.

 Very cheap and very nice-looking compared to the other shoes I saw.

I didn't want the same style for Lucy as the shoes for Annabelle and Nellie, that would be boring, so I bought these that I think are very cute.

I still needed a wig for Loki, so I found a brown wig with light stripes in it. I was actually going for a darker, more grey-ish, wig for him but I thought this one was better.

I wanted a wig that looked sort of 'messy' but maybe this is more 'princey'? XD

Actually I was also looking for some everyday wear for the two, but ended up deciding I could wait. I had to buy a new phone two days ago because I smashed my iPhone, so I needed to control my money-spending desire a bit. >_<"

BUT! I thought, why not add a few backdrops to the order as well, seeing as they are quite inexpensive. So I picked out three to begin with. They should be the cloth ones if I read the sites correctly (but who knows, I get TaoBao translated into Danish so I'm not really sure).

The Taobao order

I promised to post what I actually ordered from Taobao, so here it is:

 2 pairs of these cute white socks for Annabelle and Nellie

5 pairs of panties

A pink and a purple pair of shoes for Annabelle and Nellie

Two different pair of green glass eyes for Annabelle and Nellie

Grey glass eyes for Loki

 

Blue glass eyes for Lucy

(I did go after blue eyes with black pupils, but I fell in love with these, so I couldn't help myself)

 

Cute, blond bob styled wig for Lucy

(It was important to me, that the bob cut did not just look like a round blob on her head, but that it looked like an actual haircut)

 

I ended up buying 2 of these wigs for Annabelle and Nellie

(Originally I had planned on more fluffy-curly types of wigs, but this one was really cute so I decided to give it a try)

And finally I bought these two dresses for Annabelle and Nellie

As I wrote previously, I had imagined Annabelle in blue/mint colors, but these dresses fitted the idea I have of the girls much better than any pink & blue dresses (I needed the same dress in two different colors, so it was hard to decide on which to buy). I've gotten quite used to the idea of Annabelle wearing purple already. And maybe it makes it a little more 'twin'-like XD

So yeah, this was a big order. I hope it will get past the customs once it is shipped, but I'm really looking forward to seeing the stuff IRL. Hope the standards are as my previous Taobao order. ^^

Leekeworld order

I have had my eyes set on a certain wig from Leekeworld for some time now, and I saw that it had only few of the colors I like left when I looked today, so I decided to organize a small group order with my sisters and my friend Anne.

The wig I ordered was the W129_D in NaturalBlack for Alice. I actually had this particular style in mind for Lucy, but I decided it had to be for Alice, and that Lucy will have a straight hair wig. I'm still unsure as to the hair color for Lucy, if it will be blonde or light brown.
I also ordered some glitter powder for faceups. All my dolls will be shipped without faceups, and I want them to be a bit sparkly. :)

I'm not really sure if Leekeworld wigs will fit the PW FOF head, but I will try asking on Den of Angels if anyone there has any experience with that. ^^
